Provider-of-the-Month Showcase

February: North Range Behavioral Health

North Range Behavioral Health is the community mental health center and substance abuse provider agency serving Weld County, Colorado. They are a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to providing professional, culturally competent mental health and substance abuse services to Weld County residents.

North Range Behavioral Health has been providing services in Weld County since the Mental Hygiene Clinic was established in Greeley in 1929. The clinic became part of the Weld County Health Department in 1938 and was incorporated as a private non-profit entity in 1971 under the name of Weld Mental Health Center. The center’s name changed to North Range Behavioral Health in 1997 to better reflect the changes in behavioral health treatment and the philosophical approaches to client care. In 2008, NRBH merged with Island Grove Regional Treatment Center and began to offer a wide range of integrated services for individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders, or both. As times have changed, so has North Range Behavioral Health. They are proud of their work and their long record of outstanding service to the people of Weld County.

The staff at NRBH is exceptional! They have a highly qualified staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, professional counselors, clinical social workers, case managers, administrators, and support staff. The team at NRBH works hard to provide outstanding behavioral health services to their community. Signal BHN is very proud to have NRBH as the February Provider of the Month.
