Michael Jenet is the Chief Executive Officer of Signal Behavioral Health Network.
In this role he represents 19 substance use disorder providers and works with
both the State Department of Behavioral Health as well as thirty-five counties
to facilitate funding and treatment for people with substance use disorders.
Additionally, he advocates for and works with legislators to inform and affect
public policy as it relates to the substance abuse field. Michael has extensive
experience in the Information Technology field working as Signal’s Chief
Technology Officer for three years until stepping in as the CEO.
Tiffany Scroggins » Manager of Finance

Tiffany Scroggins, MS, joined Signal in 2006 as the Senior Operations Accountant and
recently moved in to the role of Manager of Finance. Over the past five years,
Tiffany has been in charge of the revenue side of Signal. This includes billing
for 35 counties and 19 providers in Colorado for child welfare funding and
program reimbursements. She works cooperatively with the CEO and financial
accountant in negotiating and executing annual county and provider contracts, as
well as, researching and communicating information needed to assess the
financial impact of various billing and funding sources. She assists in creating
more efficient billing and payment procedures, participates in the financial
planning and decision support process for special projects and attends meetings
or supplementing discussions that require financial information conveyed.
Beth Ann Bethel » Financial Accountant

Beth Ann Bethel is a degreed accountant with over 25 years of experience in the
accounting field. Beth Ann’s background comes with more than 17 years working in
local government as a finance director. She became Signal’s Financial Accountant
in June, 2010. In this role, her responsibilities include receipt and payment of
all vendor invoices, contract billing preparation, maintenance of accounting
informantion, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
Kristy Jordan » Marketing & Project Coordinator

Kristy Jordan joined the Signal team in January 2007. She started with the
organization as the Executive Assistant/Office Manager and recently stepped in
to the role of Marketing & Project Coordinator/Executive Assistant. Prior to
working at Signal, Kristy worked in the media industry for 6 years as a
Marketing and Advertising Account Executive. In her new role at Signal, she
works closely with all departments to create a marketing presence for Signal and
aids in grant/project coordination while maintaining support to the CEO and the
Board of Directors.
Erik Stone » Director of Compliance & Quality Assurance

Erik Stone, MS, CAC III, is the Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement at
Signal Behavioral Health Network. Erik joined Signal in 1997 after working at
Arapahoe House, Colorado’s largest addiction treatment provider for 11 years. He
held a variety of clinical and supervisory positions at Arapahoe House; his last
position was as Program Manager for their detoxification programs where he was
responsible for managing three facilities with over 122 beds and a budget of
over three million dollars. At Signal, Erik is responsible for quality
management activities such provider credentialing and site visits, training and
technical assistance, and client satisfaction and access surveys.
Lisa Gawenus » Associate Director of Compliance & QA

Lisa Gawenus, MNM, CAC III is the Associate Director of Compliance and Quality
Improvement with many years of experience in the substance use disorder
treatment field. She has a diverse background of education, 10+ years of
experience as a substance abuse counselor and experience with the comprehensive
certification review for 19 public substance abuse treatment centers in
Colorado. She is CAC III certified, a substance use prevention specialist and a
certified NIATx change leader. In her role at Signal, she monitors a network of
substance use disorder treatment providers for compliance of the Federal Block
Grant, designated for substance use disorder treatment, and leads a variety of
quality improvement efforts.
Daniel Darting » Manager of Information Technology

Daniel Darting is Signal’s Manager of Information Technology. He has worked in
Information Technology and Information Systems for over 12 years. During that
time, he has worked in healthcare, disability management, higher education, and
media. As Manager of IT, Daniel
contributes to general business planning regarding technology and systems
required to maintain company operations and functions as top-level contact to
assist end users in determining IT requirements and solutions.
Chris Coen » Business Development Analyst

Chris Coen brings over 15 years of experience working with database-driven
applications (one such a web-based enterprise learning application that provided
training and training management to 73 hospitals, and more than 40 long-term
care, assisted-, and residential-living facilities). Since joining Signal, Chris
has served as the Database Administrator and now as an Business Development
Analyst, functioning as a subject matter expert. He is also responsible for
much of the statistical analysis of data within Signal’s system.
Patrick Olowu » Help Desk/System Administrator I

Patrick comes to Signal with experience working in Veteran's Affairs IT. He supports many different Signal IT systems interally. In addition, he provides
customer service support for Signal's service management application, Beacon. Patrick works hard to develop
creative solutions to problems and to be responsive to Signal's customer base.
