We have recently added the CDHS/ DBH Ciritical Incident Reporting Policy to our web-site. This is an updated version of the policy and includes a simplified process. For your convenience we have attatched the DBH Critical Incident Initial Reporting Form and the DBH Critical Incident Follow-up Reporting Form. You can find the policy and the reporting forms by clicking Forms/Memos to the left of your screen.

Advocates for Recovery Rally on September 20

The AFR Rally will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at an exciting new spot: - in front of Denver’s City & County Building. And there will be a new addition, Advocacy Action Tent for attendees to make direct contact with state lawmakers. Other activities will include exceptional speakers, live music, food, fun activities for the kids, and our "Advocate of the Year" award.

Before the rally, there will be a Walk for Recovery from Union Station to the City and County Building. After the rally, people will be going to the Rockies game at 6:00 pm Discounted tickets are available through AFR.

Class on “Integrating Tobacco Treatment into Addictions Counseling"

Erik Stone will be offering a class on Integrating Tobacco Treatment into Addictions Counseling on August 15. The class is free of charge and will be held at Crossroads in Pueblo. This is a full day training, starting at 8:30 AM, and has been approved by ADAD for elective credit towards CAC certification. There is space for 30 participants.
